Beadalon Bead Opener Kit

Finally - an easy and efficient way to cover crimp tubes/beads after crimping. The Bead Opener/Awl comes complete with 20 3mm and 20 4mm sterling silver seamed beads. Once crimps are covered, the connection disappears into the jewelry design. You can skip the first step of these instructions by concealing already-crimped crimp tubes/beads with Crimp Covers (pre-opened beads), available in base metal silver and gold plating.

1. Insert the awl into the seamed bead, place it into the acrylic block, and push to open the bead. Repeat on the opposite side of the seamed bead to fully open it.
2. Cover the exposed crimp tube/bead on your design with the opened seamed bead or with a crimp cover.
3. Close the seamed bead or crimp cover using the outer notch of the Mighty Crimper tool.
4. Once the seamed bead or crimp cover is fully closed, the result is an ultra-smooth, clean finish to your design.
