Kabela charms and findings are high quality, exquisitely detailed filigree pieces that are all made in the USA.
These charms are made using old vintage miniature die plates that date back as far as 1904. Each component is stamped out of raw brass which is then washed, stripped and plated in nickel-free antique brass, antique copper or rustic sable colours. Finally, they are lacquered to help seal in the colour and finish the component beautifully. This process creates wonderfully thin, intricate pieces with consistently fine details and textures.
Kabela components can also be shaped into bezels to hold focal stones, buttons and glass, coloured with suitable pastes and paints (such as Gilder’s Paste) or layered with each other to create highly intricate, romantic and dramatic vintage style jewellery.
